Chevrolet Suburban Engine Tuning: 5.3L, 6.0L & 8.1L (2001–2006)

Description

Black Bear Performance offers three different levels of custom tuning service for your 2001-2006 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L, 6.0L and 8.1L.

We commonly see gains of 20-25hp, 15-20ft-lbs of torque gains out of the 5.3L variation and 8.1L engines can see a monster 50+ ft-lbs of torque, depending on fuel quality, octane and vehicle condition prior to the tune.

Due to frequent issues with 6.0L and 8.1L vehicle sensors, we strongly recommend our AutoCal or Scan cable service with those vehicles.

Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you’ll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

• Efan enable
• Torque Management Modification/Removal
• Tire/Gear Change Calibration
• Accommodation of Most Modifications (Internal engine modifications, superchargers, turbochargers*, upgraded transmissions, etc).

*Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services.  Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
