2007–2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Vortec Max Tune: 4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L

Description

Black Bear Performance offers three different levels of custom tuning service for your 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L (Vortec MAX).

15-20hp gains are common with 10-15ft-lbs of torque on 89 octane on the 4.8L and 5.3L.  The 6.0L Vortec MAX (VMAX) trucks are able to see a whopping 40+ft-lbs of torque and significantly improved overall driving characteristics..  Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you’ll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

Additional service offerings include:

• VATS Delete
• AFM Delete (5.3L/6.0L)
• Torque Management Modification/Removal
• Tire/Gear Change Calibration
• Speed and Rev Limiter Increase
• Accommodation of Most Modifications (Internal engine modifications, superchargers, turbochargers*, upgraded transmissions, etc).

All 2007+ 5.3Ls owners are strongly encouraged to use a minimum of 89 octane at all times due to compression ratio.

*Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services.  Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
