2009–2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Engine Tuning: 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L & 6.2L

Description

Black Bear Performance offers our AutoCal custom tuning service for your 2009-2013 GMC Sierra 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L.

Gains vary widely by engine type and configuration.

• 4.8L and 5.3L engines will typically see a 15-30hp/15-20ft-lbs gain.
• 6.0L engines will typically see a 25-30hp/40-50ft-lbs gain.
• 6.2L engines will typically see a 15-20hp/20-25ft-lbs on 91+ octane.

Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you’ll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

• Torque Management Modification/Removal
• Considerable Shift and Torque Converter Improvements
• Tire/Gear Change Calibration
• Speed and Rev Limiter Increase
• Accommodation of Most Modifications (Internal engine modifications, superchargers, turbochargers*, upgraded transmissions, etc).

All 2007+ 5.3Ls owners are strongly encouraged to use a minimum of 89 octane at all times due to compression ratio.

All 2007+ 6.2L engines require 91+ octane for optimal performance and efficiency due to compression ratio.

*Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services.  Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
