Chevrolet Avalanche 5.3L & 8.1L Tuning Package (2002–2006)

Description

Black Bear Performance offers three different levels of custom tuning service for your 2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 5.3L and 8.1L.

20-25hp, 15-20ft-lbs of torque gains are common out of the 5.3L variation and 8.1L engines can see a monster 50+ ft-lbs of torque.  Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you’ll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

Due to frequent issues with 8.1L vehicle sensors, we strongly recommend our AutoCal or Scan cable service with those vehicles.

Additional service offerings include:

• Speed and Rev Limiter Increase
• Efan enable
• Torque Management Modification/Removal
• Tire/Gear Change Calibration
• Accommodation of Most Modifications (Internal engine modifications, superchargers, turbochargers*, upgraded transmissions, etc).

*Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services.  Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
