2014–2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Performance Tune: 4.3L, 5.3L & 6.2L Engines

Description

Black Bear Performance offers our AutoCal custom tuning service for your 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 4.3L, 5.3L and 6.2L.

Gains vary widely by engine type and configuration.

• 4.3L engines will typically see a 10-15hp/15-20ft-lbs gain.
• 5.3L engines will typically see a 15-25hp/15-20ft-lbs gain (octane dependent)
• 6.2L engines will typically see a 25-30hp/30-35ft-lbs on 91+ octane.

Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you’ll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

All 2014+ 5.3Ls owners are strongly encouraged to use a minimum of 89 octane at all times due to compression ratio.

All 2014+ 6.2L engines require 91+ octane for optimal performance and efficiency due to compression ratio.

*Transmission tuning NOT available on 2017-2018 8- and 10-Speed Transmissions.

**Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services.  Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
